Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Design Engineer I to join our structural engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals who want to grow in a supportive, technically challenging environment.

This is a full-time position based in Fort Collins, CO, also allowing for partial remote work while maintaining strong collaboration with our in-office team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform structural analysis and design for portions of projects
  • Support engineering calculations, design documents, and technical reports
  • Conduct data collection and code research
  • Use CAD and engineering software for drafting and modeling
  • Participate in field investigations and site visits
  • Learn and apply building codes, standards, and best practices

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Passed or planning to take the Fundamentals of Engineering (F.E.) exam
  • Familiarity with CAD and structural analysis software (preferred)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with Revit Structures or other 3D modeling software
  • Internship experience with a consulting or construction firm
  • Field or jobsite experience

Job Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Salary: $60,000+ (DOE)

Job Description:

We are seeking a licensed and detail-oriented Structural Engineer with a passion for diverse and challenging projects, possessing the skills and experience outlined below.

This is a full-time position based in Fort Collins, CO, also allowing for partial remote work while maintaining strong collaboration with our in-office team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Designs and prepares a complete project and documents
  • Performs structural analysis and designs for structures
  • Develop preliminary and final models, designs, drawings, plan sets, and specifications
  • Effectively communicate with clients, consultants, and contractors to understand project requirements and expectations
  • Assume responsibility for project assignments, ensuring timely and accurate completion
  • Performs in field investigations and site visits
  • Assists in the preparation of client requests for proposals (RFPs)

Qualifications

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Colorado, in good standing
  • Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in structural engineering design
  • Proven experience in office, educational, retail, healthcare, multi-family, and mixed-use projects.
  • Strong proficiency in Revit, RISA, and CSI software.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Strong leadership skills with experience supervising engineering and CAD staff

Job Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Salary Range: $80,000-$100,000 (DOE)
